Sridhar Reddy Aluguvelli, P.E., PMP, CFM
Principal and Founder

Mr. Aluguvelli, P.E. is a Professional Engineer in multiple jurisdictions with over 22 years of comprehensive experience in the civil engineering industry. His expertise spans project design and management, strategic proposal development, technical support to public and private sector clients comprising of local utility, municipal authorities, government agencies, and private developers. His experience has given him the skills to make optimal design decisions for his clients, while maintaining efficiency and control of costs and quality throughout the entire project process.  Mr. Aluguvelli brings hands-on experience in delivering and managing large-scale Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management (EPCM) projects for the Mining & Metals, Energy, and Industrial sectors. His project portfolio includes civil site design and operations for mining facilities, process plants, utilities and maintenance facilities. He is well-versed in project execution frameworks, including gated delivery processes and permitting requirements.

Mr. Aluguvelli leads and manages a diverse portfolio of infrastructure projects involving municipal and transportation engineering, water and wastewater design, rehabilitation of storm, sanitary, combined sewer systems, and pump stations. He is also well versed in wet weather event mitigation including conveyance, storage, and treatment of storm and sanitary sewer systems. His project experience has involved storm and sanitary sewer separations, large diameter Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) tunnel design, drop-shaft and near-surface consolidation sewer design planning, alternatives evaluation and risk analyses. He is integrally involved in various project phases from project inception to final completion including: up-front planning, feasibility analysis, estimating, scope-of-work and proposal development, scheduling, engineering, project management, procurement of materials and equipment, preparation of technical specifications, construction bid packages, contract administration, design quality/ constructability reviews and construction management, bringing a results-oriented and innovative approach to complex infrastructure challenges.

Mr. Aluguvelli has extensive experience with the preparation of Erosion and Sediment (E&S) control plans, post construction stormwater management (PCSM) plans, hydrologic and hydraulic studies, drainage design (stormwater conveyance systems, open channel systems, detention facilities, intake and outfall structures, etc.) with an emphasis on Low Impact Development (LID) and Green Infrastructure (GI) design. His experience includes FEMA flood plain studies and modeling, NPDES permitting, and watershed planning for master planned communities.

Mr. Aluguvelli holds a BS degree in civil engineering, an MS degree in Computer Science and Engineering and an MS degree in Civil Engineering. He is a registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Pennsylvania, Ohio, District of Columbia (DC), North Carolina and West Virginia. He holds an active record with NCEES. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM).

 

Steven C. Taylor,  EIT
Consultant

Steven Taylor has over 10 years of experience working on a multitude of projects involving dam rehabilitation, stream restoration, federal government facility improvements, municipal roadway and utility infrastructure design involving CSO design, sewer separation, commercial clients in the manufacturing and financial sectors, and oil and gas pipelines and production facilities. His experience includes watershed mapping and analysis, dam breach analysis, above and below ground stormwater management BMP design, preparation of erosion and sedimentation control plans and permits, general site layout and grading, ADA site compliance, oil and gas pipeline and well pad permitting, GIS analyses for property acquisition and municipal sanitary sewer rehabilitation plans, and MS4 permitting. In addition, Mr. Taylor has strong AutoCAD Civil 3D CAD design skills , including surface modeling, alignment design, profile creation, corridor modeling, and earthwork calculations.

He also specialized in navigating FEMA regulations and processes related to floodplain map revisions and possess in-depth knowledge of preparing and obtaining approvals for LOMR (Letter of Map Revision) and CLOMR (Conditional Letter of Map Revision) applications. Additionally, he has experience communicating with FEMA reviewers, ensuring effective and compliant outcomes.

He cultivated an extensive understanding of geographic information systems (GIS) and he has expertise in creating Desktop and Webmap applications using popular tools like ArcGIS Online, OpenLayers, and Leaflet. Additionally, he collected GPS data and contributed to the development of GIS applications for various purposes, including traffic safety/transportation, water resources management, and environmental protection. He has demonstrated proficiency in delineating watersheds and generating floodplain maps. His skills extend to creating and editing Geodatabases, ArcInfo coverages, and shapefiles, working with diverse spatial data formats.

He is actively involved in the collection of water and wastewater samples and responsible for preparing discharge permit applications and compliance reports. He has comprehensive knowledge of SWPPP (Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan) and NPDES (National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System) requirements.

 

Shaker Gorla,  P.E., CFM, QSP, QSD
Senior Engineer

Mr. Gorla has over 22 years of diverse experience in Civil Engineering with a special focus in hydraulics and hydrologic engineering.  His experience includes the development and review of emergency action plans for detention facilities, floodplain delineations, stormwater and water quality (SWQ) improvements, erosion and sediment control (E&S) plans/ stormwater pollution prevention plans (SWPPP); preparation of hydrologic and hydraulic models to characterize watersheds and floodplain analyses for various Water Conservancy Districts. His expertise includes the application of two-dimensional hydraulic modeling tools to analyze the impacts of the proposed site development projects and develop strategies to minimize the adverse impacts on the floodplain. Mr. Gorla has extensive experience with preparation and processing of Conditional Letter of Map Revisions (CLOMR) and Letter of Map Revisions (LOMR) with FEMA for both public and private entities.

He is well versed in using various hydrologic and hydraulic computer  modeling programs such as HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, Civil Storm, WaterCAD, StormCAD, FlowMaster, HydroCAD, TR 55, etc. He is proficient in both steady and unsteady flow hydraulic modeling techniques and has received formal training in using two-dimensional hydraulic models such as Flo-2D and HEC-RAS and has subsequently used the software on numerous projects. He is proficient in using ESRI’s ArcGIS and database development software such as Microsoft Access and routinely uses these tools in processing hydrologic and hydraulic data.

 

Kiran Kumar,  CFM, ENV SP, CPESC, GISP
Technical Specialist 

With a rich background spanning over 20 years, Mr. Kumar acquired extensive expertise in the field of water resources engineering focused on hydrologic & hydraulic studies and design. His experience encompasses complex drainage design, detention facilities, drainage channels, open channel hydraulics, erosion control, flood plain studies, NPDES permits, and watershed planning for master-planned communities. He is skilled in the preparation of grading and drainage plans, as well as drainage reports. Furthermore,  he is proficient in utilizing various hydrologic and hydraulic computer programs such as HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, HEC-1, CulvertMaster, FlowMaster, Arid Hydrological Modeling (AHYMO), FLO-2D, ArcGIS, HEC-GeoRAS, HEC-GeoHMS, EPA-SWMM, AES, and WSPGW. Mr. Pallachulla has strong GIS and CAD (AutoCAD and MicroStation) design skills to design and manage complex infrastructure, land development and transportation projects effectively.

Saradhi Balla, P.E.
Senior Engineer

Saradhi Balla is a licensed engineer and project manager with design experience in civil, environmental, wastewater and water resources engineering, municipal engineering projects. He served as lead design engineer and project manager on several projects in Mississippi, Louisiana and the Gulf Coast. His primary responsibilities include preparing proposals, managing budgets and schedules, teaming up with design engineers/ project staff and supervising/mentor project engineers on multidisciplinary projects involving wastewater treatment, pumpstation design, site, roadway and utility infrastructure design. He has extensive experience related to federal and state regulatory programs with respect to water, wastewater and environmental cleanup projects. He has hands-on experience in utilizing various engineering design tools, project management programs, hydrologic and hydraulic software related to water, wastewater and storm drainage.

Mr. Balla has served as a project manager for Hinds County, MS to implement, oversee the progress stormwater management program (SWMP) including conducting public outreach and training workshops to educate citizens and county staff on best management practices. He was responsible for implementation and management of the MS4 program for the City of Jackson, MS, including budget development, project schedule development and coordination with various City departments in successful development of a sustainable MS4 program.
